An item may be not applicable, awaiting confirmation or assigned to another party. Record the reason and the person responsible for resolving it.
A checked item should have support
Where possible, connect each completed item to a certificate, notification, inspection record, contract, photograph, plan or other reliable evidence.
Prioritise immediate safety and certification issues
Problems involving uncertified occupation, dangerous conditions, overcrowding, fire safety or authority notices deserve prompt escalation rather than routine follow-up.
